About
He is no longer the journalist who dreamed of adventure at sea. Fabrice Amedeo has now become no stranger to the most prestigious IMOCA races. Next November, he will be participating in the Route du Rhum for the fourth time. As part of his oceanographic and educational initiative #OceanCalling, he takes advantage of each race to collect measurements of CO2, salinity, and microplastics, etc. He makes these measurements available to the international scientific community in order to contribute to preserving the oceans.

For me, the Route du Rhum can be summed up by this finish in Guadeloupe in 2010. I was so moved when I saw the sun rise that day over Basse-Terre after three weeks of crossing. I promised myself at that moment that I would continue to sail offshore and race on the oceans in order to relive such moments.
