Corsair, the overseas airline

Corsair has been a long-standing player in overseas air services for over 30 years. Since the end of 2020, the company's capital has been held by a consortium of overseas entrepreneurs, as well as two local authorities, Guadeloupe and Martinique, proof of the willingness of local decision-makers to support Corsair in its development.
The airline's ambition has always been to contribute to the development of economic, tourist and freight exchanges between the French overseas territories and France. Corsair is also a long-standing player in territorial continuity, allowing people from the French overseas territories based in mainland France or Guadeloupe to travel and to be reunited with their families. Thanks to a quality product (3 booking classes: Business, Premium and Economy), Corsair meets the needs of a wide range of travellers: business travellers, tourists, VFR (Visiting friends and relatives), families, students, etc.
Thanks to a sustained policy of partnerships, Corsair is strengthening its local roots and supporting the economic development of Guadeloupe.

Corsair has recently strengthened its presence on services to the West Indies :

o Opening of new routes between the provinces and the West Indies (Lyon/Pointe-à-Pitre, Bor- deaux/Pointe-à-Pitre, Nantes/Fort-de-France)
o Support for the employment of young people in Guadeloupe with the creation of cabin crew bases. 40 flight crew members are thus being recruited in Guadeloupe in order to create a flight attendant base.

Partnership with the Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe

Corsair is proud to be a partner of this emblematic race, which allows us to place the spotlight not only on sailing but also on the territory of Guadeloupe. Through this partnership and our daily actions, we wish to support the influence of the Guadeloupe region.
To convey the quality of our product and services to our customers, we unveiled our new signature “Voyager en bonne compagnie” ("Travel in good company") at the beginning of the year. This commitment to our customers will benefit all the crews involved in this race, their families as well as the visitors attending the race and travelling with Corsair to Guadeloupe.
Participation in community sports activities
For several years, Corsair has chosen sports as a major focus for its partnerships, supporting outdoor sport activities with strong values in the French overseas territories (sailing, trekking, golf, horse racing, football, etc.).
We are involved in several major events:

  • The Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe
  • The Corsair International Open, the number one tennis tournament in Martinique - The Golf Open in Guadeloupe and Martinique
  • The Tour de Guadeloupe, an iconic cycling event on the island
  • and many more.

A responsible airline

Corsair is resolutely committed to the energy transition in the airline sector. Despite the crisis, the company has decided to continue renewing its fleet, formed of 9 aircraft, including 5 new A330neo set to join by April 2022. The other four A330s will be renewed by 2024, making the Corsair fleet the most recent on the market with an average age of 2 years. The environmental performance of this new Airbus A330neo is a clear improvement on the previous generation of aircraft: 25% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions per seat, as well as a 60% reduction in noise footprint.
